Biography:

Kaecilius is a character appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen.

He is a former Master of the Mystic Arts who was once a student of the Ancient One. Disillusioned with her teachings and her use of power drawn from the Dark Dimension, Kaecilius becomes a zealot and antagonist.

Driven by a desire to transcend death and reshape reality, he leads a group of followers in a quest to summon Dormammu to Earth. His actions put him into direct conflict with Doctor Strange.

Kaecilius' first appearance is in the 2016 film Doctor Strange.
